    ACCESS! Kenya is implemented by the Export Promotion Council through its Steering Committee members comprising representatives of relevant organizations that are offering business support services or are involved in women-specific support programmes in the country.     Under the Pilot Phase for Kenya, ACCESS! will provide a comprehensive package of trade support services to women entrepreneurs including Exporters’ training programme focusing on selected sectors in which women are traditionally involved and for which a significant export potential has been identified; A demand driven Coaching/Mentorship component to complement exporter training with expert advice and guidance to selected trainees in developing and implementing their export strategies; and, a Web portal facilitating women entrepreneurs’ access to relevant export information tools and services, and providing an opportunity to showcase their company’s capabilities. 

    ACCESS! Kenya aims to enhance the competitiveness (export readiness and success) of women-owned enterprises in Kenya and to promote concrete business opportunities in regional and international markets. The programme targets women entrepreneurs who have already attained a fair level of management competence and are actual, emerging or potential exporters.

The Export Promotion Council is the ideal partner to provide Kenya’s exporters with comprehensive up-to-date trade information on existing and potential markets for Kenya’s exports, Export Market Development Programmes e.g. trade fair participation, Training in export business including Product Development and Adaptation, Business Counselling, among other services.
